The Act of Congress providing for Oregon Short Line did not mention the Fort Hall Indian Reservation either, but Utah and Northern did not raise any objection to the procedure and the terms of the Fort Bridger Treaty were complied with fully.
The Treaty was ratified by the Act of July 23, 1882, and shortly thereafter payment of this sum was made by Utah and Northern to the Treasurer of the United States on behalf of the Fort Hall Indians.
