  Hupmobile Club
Hupmobile was an automobile built by the Hupp Motor Company from 1909 thru 1940.
Hupmobiles were made for dependability, more than speed, and set many endurance records.
Another survey in 1937 showed that over 200,000 Hupmobiles were still licensed in the USA and 57% were still driven by their original owners.

Hupmobile's styling grace belied its financial troubles
The Hupmobile was an important player in Detroit's automobile industry from the company's beginning in 1909, through founder Robert C. Hupp's departure in 1911, to a damaging corporate battle for control during the Depression to its ignominious demise in 1940 amid styling grace and bankruptcy.
Along the way, many beautiful cars bore the Hupmobile marque, Hupp himself founded another car-making firm but was not allowed to use his own name (the name Hupp was still owned by the original company) and dies of the classic Cord 810 and 812 were resurrected in a futile attempt to stave off doom.
Hupmobile had never paid much attention to styling, but now it moved to the fore and the Hupmobile was one of the prettiest cars in its class for the rest of its existence.
