		Hurontario Street had been constructed north from Duntroon and Nottawa to the Bay, and it became the main focus for the new town.
		This was the block plan given to the area from the first street south of the waterfront lots and west of Hurontario Street to the fifth street.
		On Ontario Street the garages are relocated from the front of the houses to the rear so that the street is lined with front porches and front doors, thus mimicking development styles of the 19th century.

	Alton, Ontario - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Alton is located in the northern part of the incorporated town of Caledon in the Regional Municipality of Peel.
		When the Orangeville By-Pass opened in the northeast, Highway 24 moved from Alton to south and east on Charleston Sideroad and Hurontario Street (Highway 10) and the number was renamed Highway 134 or Alton Road.
		Alton has a train station on the CN, although no longer used for passenger traffic it is a short line used for terminating north in nearby Orangeville.

	Collingwood Collegiate Institute

		Their practice was interrupted by fire truck racing down the street and the discovery that the school was, in fact, on fire.
