The Birmingham Hippodrome is a theatre situated on Hurst Street in Birmingham, England.
Although most famous as the home stage of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, it also hosts a wide variety of other performances including visiting opera and ballet companies, touring West End shows, pantomimes and drama.
The first venue built on the Hippodrome site was called the "Tower of Varieties" and opened in 1895.

Research into the restoration of the Back to Backs in Birmingham is underway and it is proposed to show four of the dwellings at different periods in their history – suggested dates are around 1802 (when the first was completed); late 19th-century; pre-war 1930s and 1960s.
The Back to Backs in Birmingham were completed in 1831 and shop-fronts were subsequently inserted along the adjacent Hurst Street by 1900.
