Damn, all this talk about Husk's potential has got me wondering about those six years she was active in continuity and the writers did close to nothing to explore her morphing abilities.
About Husk, I think that it should be said that she's aspired to become the leader of the next generation of X-Men(shown in GenX#1) and achieve more things than her brother did.

Husk has gone from a character with an almost useless power and has developed it to become a pretty good mutant.
This occured in the Wolverine comic, which was kinda stupid since the people following X-Force never got to see Siryn get healed and the people reading Deadpool never got to see how he helped out his girlfriend unless they paid close attention to the other X-books.
I always thought Husk was a pretty interesting character, but it seems like all they ever do with her powers is the ol' Colossus.
