Monster data was culled from poking around game files on the DVD-ROM, but I double- checked with the Ultimania Guide when I was unsure of what something was, and it all matches.
In this example, the monster will absorb all Fire damage as HP (green numbers), halve all Thunder damage, Water will do zero damage regardless of magic attack power, Ice will do 1.5 times as much damage, and there will be no change in Holy damage.
If a particular monster is found in more than one area, it's listed in the first area it appears, chronologically.

Alfred Tarski - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The question of whether Tarski's notion was the modern one turns on the question of whether he intended to admit models with varying domains (and in particular, models with domains of different cardinalities).
Tarski studied logic and philosophy in Warsaw with Jan Łukasiewicz and Tadeusz Kotarbiński.
Tarski ends his paper by pointing out that his definition of logical consequence depends upon a division of terms into the logical and the extra-logical and he expresses some skepticism that any such objective division will be forthcoming.

Grue (monster) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Grues were also introduced as actual, very high-level monsters one could fight; among the menagerie of "elemental" monsters such as fire lizards or stone giants were "elemental grues" which were supposedly grues advanced enough in elemental (magic) power that they could "wreath themselves in shadows" and fight against players in the light.
Originally grues were not a threat as long as one remained still and didn't leave one's location, but in later games it has been possible, in certain situations, to be eaten by a grue simply by waiting around in the dark.
Grues show up repeatedly in the roguelike game Ancient Domains of Mystery; originally only existing as an in-joke, "You are likely to be eaten by a grue" being one of the stock phrases one can encounter while traveling through the dark, eventually the classic Zork "lurking grue" was added to the game.

Monster group - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Monster was predicted by Bernd Fischer and Robert Griess in 1973, and first constructed by Griess in 1980 as the automorphism group of the Griess algebra, a 196884-dimensional commutative nonassociative algebra.
The monster is also the automorphism group of the monster vertex operator algebra, an infinite dimensional algebra containing the Griess algebra, and acts on the monster Lie algebra, a generalized Kac-Moody algebra.
The Monster group prominently features in the Monstrous Moonshine conjecture which relates discrete and non-discrete mathematics and was proven by Richard Borcherds in 1992.

Mon (monster) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The word is derived from the abbreviating the Japanese loanword, "monster" (monsutaa, or モンスター) to its first two characters (-mon, or モン).
For example, Monster Rancher's Pixie (designed after a succubus) is frequently depicted as very close to that show's protagonist Genki.
To a native speaker of Japanese, the abbreviation of a word to two moras is intuitive, and a creature's name ending in "-mon" immediately suggests "monster." Most Americans and Europeans may be familiar with "-mon" through the popularity of the Pokémon game and Digimon anime.

Tully Monster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Tully Monster had fins not unlike a cuttlefish and a long proboscis with eight small sharp teeth with which it may have probed actively for small creatures and edible detritus in the muddy bottom.
The Tully Monster (Tullimonstrum gregarium), so far apparently unique to Illinois, was a soft-bodied invertebrate that lived in shallow tropical coastal waters of muddy estuaries during the Pennsylvanian geological period, about 300 million years ago.
It was part of the ecological community represented in the unusually rich group of soft-bodied organisms represented among the assemblage called the Mazon Creek fossils from their site in Grundy County, Illinois.

Monster Manual II (2002) and Fiend Folio (2003) are new monster-specific rulebooks, though some of the specific monsters featured therein have almost no overlap with those of their first edition namesakes.
It also featured monsters that were infamously ridiculous such as the sheet phantom (a bad caricature of a ghost) and the flumph (one of the only non-evil creatures presented).
The current version of the Monster Manual (July 2003), subtitled Core Rulebook v3.5, is a revision of the Monster Manual (2000) for Third Edition Dungeons and Dragons.

Grue (color) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Grue is an artificial adjective, coined from "green" and "blue" by philosopher Nelson Goodman in one of the seminal works in the philosophy of science, Fact, Fiction, and Forecast.
Casually, "grue" is often used to mean "green before some time T, and blue on or after some time T, where T is in the future" (Before Y2K, January 1st, 2000 was frequently used for T), which slightly simplifies Goodman's definitions.
A real-world example of the concept of bleen and grue, is what could be called "turkey induction": a farmyard turkey could use induction to conclude that the farmer's wife is a supplier of food, although of course she will become executioner.

In an alternate timeline, Monster Island fell under siege by the invincible Dragma creatures, and every kaiju there (including Godzilla) was slaughtered by their might.

Monster infighting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Monster infighting, while not ubiquitous in roguelike games, is common enough in the genre that it is not considered unusual.
Since a monster does not have the intelligence to cease fire in the event that a fellow monster blocks his line of sight, his companion will be subject to friendly fire.
Note that the game logic that renders monsters immune to their own projectiles is controlled by a simple flag in the executable file and can be toggled on or off by DeHackEd or similar executable-editing tools.

List of enemies in Doom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Even though it is the strongest monster in the game, veteran players can these days easily take on pairs or even trios of Cyberdemons at once, using a technique known as circlestrafing, allowing them to dodge their rockets.
Due to their bullet weapons, they are the only enemies besides the Spider Mastermind that can be easily made to engage in monster infighting with others of the same type.

Boss (video games) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bosses are a consequence of this structure, appearing at or near the end of a level or episode and being the hardest enemies to defeat.
Bosses are traditional choke-points in RPGs, used to ensure a player has taken the time to level-up (raise their abilities through fighting anonymous easier foes) before progressing to a new section of the game.
Bosses have recently fallen out of favour with groups of videogamers and specific game designers; it is commonly argued that they are a hangover from pay-to-play arcade games, and inappropriate for current games.
