In hexagram 56 self-imposed limitations enable one to survive in any environment.
By introducing this hexagram as context, you can change a state described by any other hexagram into a state described by hexagram 62.
To 'go with the flow', any hexagram that is changing into hexagram 22 reflects an influence of 56 on that hexagram in that the 'flow' is in hexagram 56 and as such this reflects the need to adapt to that flow and so take-on the properties and methods of 56.

Five Phase I Ching : Hexagram Pairs
Of interest in the dynamics of hexagrams, an interesting pattern in the Changing-Line Matrix, is a relationship of PAIRS of hexagrams where there is a sense of direction, FROM A to B in the pairs.
By this I mean that hexagram 51 is energy expending, concentrated, and as such 57 reflects a DAMPENING focus, a focus on 'diffuse' use of energy (as in 'Wind') compared to the intense, precise use of energy (as in 'Thunder').
56 - this hexagram deals with maintaining loyalty at a distance/in a crowd; thus despite diversity one remains 'true'.

The hexagram presents a configuration of circumstances in which a strong element is temporarily held in leash by a weak element.

 Starmaze Hexagram Concordance
Because each of the 64 hexagrams comes in one 64 different forms depending on the moving lines, there are 4096 hexagrams in all, which, as it happens, is exactly the number of non-center passage openings in the starmaze.
The 64 hexagram pages provide information for each of the 64 forms of that hexagram with the transition numbers that are associated with the hexagrams at the entrance and exit of each passage.
The hexagram associated with the immediately preceding passage can then provide insights into the forces which created or influenced the situation or person of interest, the room and house of the maze can provide context for the current situation, and the next passage in the sequence can suggest future trends.

 I Ching PLUS : I Ching Matrices
These I Ching perspectives are here presented in the form of matrices where the matrices are associated with a pair of hexagrams; the reason for the pairing is the SAME matrices apply to each member of the pair but are just read in different directions.
In the 'traditional' I Ching this RHB lists all of the hexagrams that result from changing lines in a hexagram but there is more to this that what we find in the traditional commentaries etc on the I Ching and line changes.
Here hexagram 43 is now the 'bottom' hexagram, used as analogy to describe the 'rawest' expression of hexagram 01 and here we use the 'rawest' expression of 43 as analogy where the emphasis is on being 'pushy'; thus hexagram 01 has at least a raw sense of 'pushiness.

The two 'pure' trigrams formed of these lines, unmixed, give rise to all the others, or rather the lines of which they are formed do so; and are thus compared to a gate by which the various diagrams enter to complete the system that is intended to represent the changing phenomena of nature and experience.
There seems to be a contradiction between the statements in paragraphs 53 and 56 about the book supplying, and not supplying, a standard rule; but the meaning, probably, is that while it does not give a rule generally applicable, it gives rules for particular cases.

This sequence relates pairs of hexagrams as being variations on a theme where the variation is the BOTTOM line of the hexagram.
Below are given the links to pages of all 64 hexagrams with their names, general comments on trigram make-up, and the detailed comments on relationships of hexagram pairs as cooperative and competitive (opposite) forms in the expression of meaning.
