IANAL - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
IANAL is a Usenet and chat abbreviation (acronym) for "I am not a lawyer." A similar abbreviation, TINLA, stands for "This is not legal advice."
Frequently, people start their comments with IANAL to say that they are not a legal professional before stating their opinion.
A variant of IANAL is IANYL ("I am not your lawyer"), which is used by lawyers when posting comments on message boards to indicate that they are, in fact, attorneys, but they don't represent the reader and their comments are not subject to attorney-client privilege.

IANAL is an old acronym that first gained relevance on the Usenet.

I just wish they'd all remember the basic IANAL principle -- not only to temper other people's reactions to what they write, but perhaps to give themselves a gentle reminder that they're wading into deep water that may not be the best suited for their swimming skills.

I shovel my drive way but I do not encourage kids to come and have fights.
More IANAL useless speculation: I would think that unless some aspect of your property was causally involved in the injury, and that aspect of your property would be absent if the kids were forced to set up fort elsewhere (ie a local danger), you should be in the clear.
IANAL, but I've heard that putting up a sign such as suggested would imply that you know this activity is going on, and thereby accept responsibilities for it.
