I am proud to have played a role in bringing the IB Diploma Program to South Lakes HS, and the IB Middle Years Programme to South Lakes, Langston Hughes MS and the elementary schools in the South Lakes Pyramid.
Add the fact that the FY 2005 budget that the County Board of Supervisors is now considering falls short of funding our "advertised" school budget by more than $38 million, and you can see the uphill climb we face to adopt a balanced budget that merely funds existing programs for FY 2005.
