Tucked away in Chessbase 9 is a great feature that allows you type the numeric notation in and Chessbase will convert that to algenraic.

ICCF numeric and algebraic, provided they explicitly agree upon it at the start of the game.
If different moves are sent when two notations are explicitly agreed upon, the move should be treated as ambiguous and referred back to the sender for clarification.

This was partly due to the method used to pick the teams; rather than America's ICCF Secretary Benjamin Koppin selecting players based on reputation, experience or rating, interested players were told (by a recurring note in The Chess Correspondent) to contact him instead.

I had to hunt for the tournament announcement and final crosstable in the ICCF magazine Fernschach as I have long since forgotten most of what occurred.
This was the first tournament in which I had to use ICCF numeric notation and international CC postcards, a bit of a distraction.

Numeric Notation Used primarily by the ICCF, NN, arguably the most difficult system to learn, nevertheless provides the least ambiguity.
