| | Greatest Hits II album review |
 | | As the inaugural single release from the album 'The Works', ‘Radio Ga Ga’ didn’t fill me with much confidence, but still, what do I know, this song was a huge hit single for the band, and Roger’s first A-side release. |
 | | The album version contains two solos, the first an emotional, wailing frenzy (omitted from the single version), his tone thick and biting, which acts as a formidable hors d’oeuvre for the astonishing, belligerent flailing of the second solo, an intense sonic workout given extra power as the song goes into double time. |
 | | For me, this anthology is not quite as exceptional as the first 'Greatest Hits' album, but it is good to see all four members represented, and many of the compositions here did go on to become essential inclusions at live concerts, and opened up Queen's music to another generation of fans. |
