	Warfarin Management with Mild Elevation of INR - September 15, 2003 - American Family Physician
		Banet and associates evaluated the safety of not changing the warfarin dosage because of a mildly elevated INR and quantified the relationship between reduction of the warfarin dosage and subsequent decrease of the INR.
		The difference between the two groups was that the anticoagulation service had an established protocol that patients with mildly elevated INRs were to be maintained on the same dosage unless it was clinically indicated to reduce the dosage, while the primary care group had no established protocol.
		The median follow-up INR in those with no change in the dosage was 2.7, 2.5 in those who reduced the dosage by 1 to 20 percent, and 1.7 in patients who had the dosage reduced by 21 to 43 percent.

		The memo that Powell took to Africa is apparently the same memo that was leaked to the WSJ in late 2003 to provide proof that Plame sent Wilson on a bamboozle.
		This memo, recall, was first referred to as "prepared by U.S. intelligence personnel." Then it was leaked that the memo was an INR memo (I believe first by Newsday, but Jeff Gannon was one of the first to refer to it as an INR memo).
		Since it became clear this was an INR memo, I've always assumed that meant it was written at the direction of the INR, and that it meant that it was written by an INR analyst.
