	IOI 2006 Competition Rules
		All of the tasks in IOI 2006 are designed to be algorithmic in nature.
		The practice tasks will be distributed in advance of the IOI and contestants are encouraged to bring prepared solutions with them on CDs for submission during the practice round.
		The IOI competition takes place in a distributed environment in which each competitor has his or her own workstation for development and initial testing.

	Centro Internacional del Océano para el Gran Caribe (IOI - Costa Rica)

		In response to an invitation by the Conference organisers, IOI participated at the White Water to Blue Water Partnership Conference held in Miami, USA, 22-26 March 2004.

	IOI poised for better year

		The Argentina Government will pay the accommodation, excursions and transport from Mendoza airport to the IOI venue and back, for the delegation.
		The jury is composed of the delegation leaders of all participating countries and the nominated President.
		Argentina will invite one representative from the counties offering the next two IOI's to act as coordinators when evaluating the solutions of the Argentinean Team.

		KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: Malaysia's biggest plantation company IOI Corp. has agreed to buy edible oil refiner, Pan Century Group, for 423 million ringgit (US$115 million, €96 million) in a deal that would make it the world's largest maker of fatty acids, which are used to make cosmetics, crayons, soaps and detergents.
		In a statement late Thursday, IOI said it would buy Pan Century from India's conglomerate Aditya Birla Group.
		It said Pan Century's oleochemical plant and refinery in southern Johor state was located right next to its own specialty fats and refinery business, and that the acquisition would led to "significant synergistic advantages" for the group.
