ESPN, Inc. and the International Skating Union, the premiere skating organization in the world, have finalized a four-year agreement to exclusively televise nine ISU-sanctioned men’s, ladies’, pairs and ice dance figure skating events annually through 2007-08, it was announced today by Mark Shapiro, executive vice president, ESPN programming and production.
"The International Skating Union presents some of the world’s most prestigious sports events and this agreement supports ESPN’s goal of providing fans with championship television," Shapiro said.
