User Reviews and comparison blog on Institute of Technology BHU - Education: By State by vikramkarve on MouthShut.com
The student should feel he or she has changed for the better, professionally and personally; and so should other stakeholders observing the student from the outside be able to discern the value enhancement.
The idyllic environs and sanctimonious atmosphere of BHU were ideal for reflection and contemplation and helped one develop a philosophical attitude to life.
Like all premier institutes ITBHU was fully residential, which fostered camaraderie and facilitated lifelong friendships amongst the alumni.

Among the top ten (10) Tech Schools .... Summary
Although these rankings may keep changing (moving few places up or down), it is a significant fact that BITS has come to occupy this position among top ten in the recent times and that too being the only private college among the top ten.
I did my B Tech (Chem Engg) from ITBHU and when I had to choose which engineering college to go during my school days, I had three choices IIT, IIS (Bangalore) and BITS and my close friends also thought the same during that time (that is nearly 30 years ago).
Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore is surprisingly missing, but they may not have furnished the data, otherwise IIS is also considered a good tech college with excellent scientific and technical research record.

Please read the press statements of HRD ministry, which has expressed worry that late IITs have not come up to the level of old IITs.
Dear mr arun I cant understand why ur so envious with ITBHU.I think u have knowledge that ITBHU has been part of IITJEE since 1971 so its obvious that quality of students here is far more better than any of the NITs,bits pilani or any other college in the country except IITS.
As far as IITR is concerned it has just been upgraded to IIT inspite of the fact that ITBHU was deserving, but they cant make two IITS in single state(ITBHU and IITK in UP) (IITR is in uttaranchal)

It feels an achievement in life to have such remarkable friends, who can smell what I feel at any instant, who could make out what I have designed or wrote out of a hodge podge.
We came at ITBHU as strangers but left with share in each other heart(s).
In this one life, wherever we come across again, the memories of the college are going to cloud over eyes, adding to an ever increasing affection and respect for each other.
