Her voice sounds magnificent on “fl metal figure” as well, with a slew of sounds coming in from all corners.
The big difference between the process and ninetynine’s other releases is that this record feels more like a band effort, with MacFarlane and Potts, having been a permanent member of the troupe since 1997, joined by Any Clarke and Iain McIntyre on a permanent basis.
With Potts drumming on tracks like “the conference” simply outstanding, of course the band lose nothing when MacFarlane contributes the same on “great escapes”, which is the closest that ninetynine get on the process to sounding like Sleater-Kinney, with Clarke on strident lead vocals.

Despite these obstacles (perhaps because of them) a number of homegrown acts came to epitomise the down and dirty sound of the Antipodean underground.
Released in 2004 by Melbourne Community Radio Station 3CR, the book (by Iain McIntyre and Ian D Marks) and accompanying tribute CD (featuring 19 of Melbourne's toppest contemporary groups doing covers of the most classic retro-stompwise slopp) quickly sold out.
The Ledatape Organisation is overstoked beyond all comprehension to re-present the tunes from the disc.

Iain McIntyre--bass on 1 track, guitar on 1 track, keyboards on 1 track
This one shows even more Pram-like off-kilter tendancies, but still has a nice indiepop sensibility, mixing it up nicely.

Olaf Kolzig (WAS): Stopped 42 Canucks shots (not including the shootout) and gave the Capitals an opportunity to steal a win.
