  PM - Causley attacks Fischer
IAN CAUSLEY: There's no doubt that some of these people try to put pressure on but I don't know why the Party would put this poll out and I don't know what this reaction to the media beat up that is trying to brand One Nation as some evil force in Australia.
IAN CAUSLEY: Well if this came from the National Party I would say they need their heads read because quite frankly I don't believe the issue should be raised.
IAN CAUSLEY: Well, Tim Fischer ought to know a lot about One Nation because he was the rise of One Nation.

The Nationals - The Hon Ian Causley MP
Ian Causley’s family has been on the Clarence River since 1888 and in his maiden speech in the NSW Parliament in 1984, he made it clear one of the reasons he went into politics was to protest about what minority groups were doing to the area.
Ian continues to endeavour to put a rational argument to convince the community of the value of rural industries.
Ian carries a firm belief in decentralising government services and achieved regionalisation of water resource offices as a Minister in the NSW State Parliament.

Ian Causley has a dilemma: he doesn't know whether he's in Canberra representing the interests of Lismore, or in Lismore representing Canberra.
The CPSU calls on Ian Causly to campaign on behalf of Lismore, rather than merely using Southern Cross University as a backdrop for his commercials during election campaigns - as he did at the last election.
And Ian Causley will do well to consider that little thing called democracy as he prepares to go to Canberra to vote on this bill.

Causley is taking a week off from his Parliamentary duties as newly appointed Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives in order to have a possibility of cancer in his lower body investigated.
Causley's small faction, and because the ruling federal Liberal government requires the National Party as a coalition partner in order to remain in power, THEY had to dance to Causley's tune.
