By the end of the year, Cold Chisel had re-formed with Moss, and they returned to the studio to begin work on a new album.

At the Assessment & Training Day at Dunsfold Park in Surrey, Derek and Ian undertook up to nine practical assessments including a motor collision, fall from a horse, compressive head injury and open fracture scenarios, extricating unconscious casualties from cars, treating a cardiac arrest, patient transport and a multi-vehicle major incident.
Derek and Ian were one of 13 teams from Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.

An integral part of one of Australia's most successful rock bands, Cold Chisel, guitarist Ian Moss recently appeared at Narooma’s Great Southern Blues and Rockabilly Festival after appearing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival earlier in the year.
In recent months Moss has also been steadily writing and collecting material in preparation for a new CD and has been using his tour shows to trial new material.
Moss will make a brief foray south of the border for five shows next week and will be appearing in solo acoustic mode.
