Ibn 'Abbas further reports: "I went out with the Prophet on the day of breaking the fast or of the sacrifice, and he prayed and gave a khutbah, and then he went to the women and admonished them, reminded them of Allah, and ordered them to give charity." This is related by al-Bukhari.
Ibn Qudamah says: "I know of no difference of opinion on that point." Ash-Shaukani states that the strongest opinion is that if one does not perform the takbirat out of forgetfulness, he is not to perform the prostrations of forgetfulness.
Ibn 'Abbas reports: "The Messenger of Allah went out to the site of the 'id prayer and prayed two rak'at [i.e., the 'id prayer] without praying anything before or after it." This is related by the group.

 Missed Prayers Hafiz Ibn Taymiyyah
The Hanbalis in the next few generations after Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawzziah (Allah have mercy upon them all) took the opinions of these two scholars and they reconciled them (for want of a better term) with the madhhab, weighing which opinion was strongest with respect to the foundations and principles of the school.
Ibn Qayyim (Allah have mercy upon him) is just as controversial as his teacher, if not more so since he was the one who recorded and systematized Ibn Taymiyyah's ideas.
Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Qayyim (Allah have mercy upon them both) were two of the great supporters of taswwuf, something that very few Salafis seem comfortable with.

Ibn Qudamah says: "It is a sunnah to pray salatul adha early in order to allow more time for the people to perform the sacrifice, and the salatul fitr is to be delayed in order to give people time to pay zakat al-Fitr.
Ibn 'Abbas and Jabir both report that there was no adhan on the day of the breaking of the fast or on the day of sacrifice.
Ibn Hajar writes in Fath al-Bari, "Ibn as-Siraj related from Abu az-Zinad on the authority of 'Urwah from 'Aishah that the Prophet said that day: 'Let the Jews of Medinah know that our religion is spacious [and has room for relaxation] and I have been sent with an easy and straight forward religion.

sunniforum.com - Ibn Qudama al-Hanbali the Mufawwid and todays Pseuo-Salafiyya
Ibn Qudama was also vehemently anti-Ta'wil, though his contemporary Hanbali: Ibn al-Jawzi, who was more greater in overall rank as an accomplished scholar took the line that Ta'wil of the Sifat when called for has a basis in the way of the Salaf and classical Arabic language.
Conclusion: Ibn Qudama affirmed Tafweed al-Ma’nawiyya and showed it to be the way of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal by quoting him; hence this way of affirming the Sifat of Allah is in line with the Asha’ira and Maturidiyya, thus this is the real Salafi-Way.
now where is imma ibn qudamah saying that it is wajib to follow one of 4 madhabs it is certiainly permissable we dont deny that however it is the blind fanaticism that we are agianst and scholars such as imma ibn qudamah were also against.

Ibn Taymiyah in his al-Hamawiyah, as well as al-Saffarini al-Hanbali in his Lawami’ calls such people ‘Ahl al-Tajheel’, those who stultify the meanings of the divine texts and obstinately remain ignorant of their obvious meanings.
Ibn Taymiyah would refuse and insist on saying that what I have written is in fact the ‘Aqidah of all the Salaf, including Abu Hanifah, Malik and al-Shafi’i, and this is what bothered the Ash’aris.
Ibn Qudamah left a few things in the book unclear, for example he says in it that "we do not expel anyone (from Islam) by means of an action".

I could not find reference to the issue in Ibn Qudamah's Al-`Umdah, Al-Muqni`, or Al-Mughni, in places where the ruling is typically mentioned in the later books (sunan al-fitra) or among the reasons for rejected testimony.
Many of the positions that Ibn Taymiyyah was so heavily criticized for did not--wa al-hamdu lillah--become the mufta bihi in the Hanbali mathhab nor its `aqidah.

Ibn Qudamah, moreover, supported his view by saying that since women are not permitted to call the Adhan for Prayer for men, they are also not allowed to lead them in Prayer.
But I do not agree with Ibn Qudamah that it is probable that the permission given to Umm Waraqah to lead her household, including men, in Prayer was peculiar to her.

What makes Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya on the Invocation of God of great interest is that it illustrates the spiritual life of Ibn Qayyim and of his teacher, the Hanbalite reformer Ibn Taymiyya (1263AH/1328AD).
Still, it is amazing how ibn al-Qayyim was able to write this volume while traveling to Hajj, especially since he was away from the resources of knowledge and enduring the hardships of travel.
