If so it is actually a mixture of three varieties, as Meyers lemon is itself believed to be an orange x lemon.

the meyers lemons that i saw in austin were at boggy creek farms in southeast austin.
Not nearly as prolific as a meyer which will sometimes produce 20-30 lemons a year for me, but a very tough and great tasting citrus.
If you live in the heat island of Dallas, which seems to be a pretty solid 8b you can most likely plant one in the ground with very minimal protection.
