		Ruins of a castle at mountain Hyoyang in Bubal-eup, Icheon is known as the Shilla soldier's garrison in the late period of the Three States.
		In Sejongsillokjirij, Icheon is excluded in the national Jagiso and Dogiso (a Place for making ceramics), but in the new Donggukyeojiseungram, had been issued at the era of Jungjong (A.D 1530), listed the Icheon's local specialties as white gem along with the ceramic.

	A Visit to the Hae Gang Ceramic Museum
		The museum is a tribute to the ceramic artist Haegang (Yoo Kun-hyung) who spent his life's work on the revival of Koryo celadon techniques which had been neglected for over 500 years.
		Before visiting the museum, we were treated to a Taekwondo demonstration by the Icheon High School Team which was very exciting.
		The students were very accomplished and impressive and we marvelled at their skill at such a young age.
