Iganga is a lively market town in Central Uganda, not far from Lake Victoria and the source of the White Nile.
The link with Iganga is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the way of life of people in a developing country with a very different climate, lifestyle and culture to our own.

The acting district health inspector, Francis Kyakulaga, said the research involved 3,000 male and female respondents in the sub-counties of Waibuga, Bulamagi and Iganga town council.
Kyakulaga said this on Friday at East View Guest House in Iganga town at a workshop organised by the Family Planning Association of Uganda, Iganga branch, to sensitise community leaders.

As part of this aim to change their role and standing in society, the women of Iganga are very keen to create links with women in the Daventry District.
