Ilir Meta, the candidate voted by the SP General Steering Committee (GSC) for Premier, declared on Wednesday that his government will be a continuation of the predecessor.

Meta was elected a deputy for the first time in 1992 and has won also in the following elections, respectively in 1996, 1997 and 2001.
