Percapita Income   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-10)
Per capita income is often used by policymakers and the public as an overall index of well-being or standard of living in an economy.
Per capita personal income is simply the total personal income divided by the total population, which gives a per person measure of the income earned or disbursed to individuals in the economy.
This is done by calculating the differences in the predicted per capita incomes arising from differences in education levels, employment per capita, and the percentage of population that is rural between Kentucky and the U.S. Figure 3 shows this calculation.

Regions Two and Six (Metro East St. Louis) had landfill capacity per capita which was the lowest in the state; however, this table warns that the regions could run out of space by 2005 and 2006 respectively unless wastes are landfilled elsewhere or new capacity is added, or both.
