  Control?!?
Absolute control is an illusion because cooperation is required and because it is impossible to be aware of all the influences on a given situation.
Self control requires awareness of all the things that motivate the person and all the things that influence their perception of the things that they witness and cause.
Complete self control is virtually impossible for most humans, but if it were possible, it would require the ability to see only what is there and avoid reading unnecessary and incorrect meanings into the things that they see, say and do.

It is the desire of all men to be in control of their lives on a day-to-day basis, but God says to submit and He will bless you with the desires of your heart.
Control is nothing more than a defense we have set in place in order to stop people from seeing the pain we are in, because if we allow them to see our pain we may become vulnerable and in order to do that we must take a chance on getting hurt one more time.
Control is but a wall for people to hide behind so they do not have to show the world just how scared they are and just how bad they truly feel about themselves.

 Illusions of Control - Torah.org
The illusion of control can result in very serious adjustment problems in life simply because an illusion is a distortion of reality.
One of the most striking negative consequences of the need to feel in control is that seen in the alcoholic, whose life may be disintegrating right before his eyes, yet he is adamant in insisting that he can control his drinking and that he has every facet of his life under perfect control.
Just as the alcoholic is obstinate in relinquishing the illusion of control, so is the person who loses his wealth apt to continue to think he is in control.

In The Illusion of Control, Seyom Brown shows how U.S. officials are relying on force to counter a wide range of threats to America’s global interests—eclipsing previous strategies that restricted the use of military force to situations in which the country’s vital interests were at stake.
While resorting to force may seem to be a reliable way to establish control over a disorderly world, Brown cautions that expecting to gain and maintain control through military prowess could turn out to be a dangerous illusion.
In fact, employing new military technologies in an effort to control international terrorist activities, wars, and civil conflicts is likely to pull the United States into excessive commitments and imprudent action.

 Magic: Illusion
Illusion backlash generally involves making something that is obviously fake, or having a subconscious self-injurious impulse take over the creation.
This means you no longer have to concentrate or perform continous actions to control the illusion, and it will behave as everybody present and beliving in it expects it to act.
The illusion continues to use your skill, but its effective skill rating can never be higher than the number of people who are currently sensing and believing in it, and a decision-making ability that conforms to the collective expectations of the people rather than any actual talent.

Recently two leading bankruptcy scholars have used a series of articles to argue that chapter 11 is superfluous when a firm's control rights are coherently allocated.
Because the answer to both questions must be no, I argue that any faith that control rights can lead to the end of corporate bankruptcy as we know it is unfounded, even wrong.
The allocation of control rights at the point of financial distress will thus reflect the end-point of an ongoing, dynamic process.
