From Thursday, Ideas and Images: The Mumbai Art Magazine will be up for grabs for the city's art lovers, not on any newsstand but at the Sir Cowasjee Jehangir Public Hall, which houses the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA).
Around August-September every year, the gallery curates an exhibition that showcases Mumbai's artscape; the theme of the first exhibition in 1997 was 50 Years of Art in Mumbai, while The Collector's Eye the year after focussed on city-based collector Jehangir Nicholson.

There is an air show in Mumbai on the 17th October and also a static display of some of the latest Indian Air Force aircraft (Sukhoi 30 and MiG 29) along with a couple of Air India jumbos too in the hangar where I work usually on the 14th and 15th of October.
The whole place is being done up for the event which is a first time that any such display for the public is made in the airport premises.
