Zamboanga del Sur is a province of the Philippines located in the Zamboanga Peninsula region in Mindanao.
Its capital is Ipil[?] and it borders Zamboanga del Norte to the north, Zamboanga del Sur to the east and Zamboanga City to the southwest.
Zamboanga Sibugay is the newest province in the Philippines, created in 2001, when the third district of Zamboanga del Sur split off.

IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay, Feb. 15 - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has announced the availability of over 1,600 overseas jobs that will be opened for qualified applicants during a job fair to be held at the Capitol Complex on Feb. 22-23.
The job fair is part of the series of activities that has been launched by the provincial government and other government agencies to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the province.
DOLE provincial officer Imelda Gatinao said the list of jobs was submitted by recruitment agencies that will participate in the forthcoming job fair.
