		The movie is about the life of the composer Ludwig Van Beethoven, and the storyline is based on the letters of the composer written to an anonymous immortal beloved.
		Beethoven tells Schindler that music takes the listener to the metastate of the composer, and Beethoven further states that this sonata tells about a lover that is having trouble to reach his beloved.
		But the fact is this sonata is dedicated to the violonist Rudolphe Kreutzer and has no significant love theme in it.

		She is not considered to be the Immortal beloved today, though until the date of the letters (1812) was properly established, she was indeed thought to be a strong candidate - Schindler claimed that the letters had been written to her at a Hungarian spa in 1801.
