As far as Elidel and Protopic, neither have been approved for psoriasis (eczema yes), and Elidel is actually an immunosuppresant.
I am sure Protopic and Elidel manufacturers are lobbying hard to get into the P market before their effectiveness is properly tested.
Mind you, I am not undermining the terrors of P; only stating that localized P still has a variety of solutions which do not require immunosuppresant topicals, and less those that are not approved.

The use of CTLA4-Ig and anti-CD40 ligand to prevent renal allograft rejection in monkeys is very interesting and may have significant benefit for people with diabetes.

I was recently prescribed usage of Rhinocort Aqua but i am concerned to use it due to the following: (a) it is an immunosuppresant, (b) in clinical studies it projected occurences of gliomas and tumors in liver cells of sprague dawley rats.
I wonder since I most likely will have to take this steriod for a good five months to clear up my condition, don't I have a chance of getting gliomas etc. Also, i worry about running into someone with measles or chickenpox.
