		The ImprovOlympic (also known as "IO") is a theater in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois dedicated to improvisational comedy.
		The ImprovOlympic approaches improvisation as an art form in and of itself; this differs from the Second City approach, where improv is used as a tool in creating sketch comedy.
		Annually, a clone of the ImprovOlympic is held for one night at the Nelson College for Boys in Nelson, New Zealand.

		Back then, it was on Santa Monica Blvd and it was this neon green building and on the door was a huge painting of a guy (Del Close) with a crazy hypnotizing swirly eye.
		Every time I drove past I always thought 'what is that place and who is that guy with the crazy hypno-eye?' I found out it was ImprovOlympic, the same place Ali had studied and performed, so I signed up for classes.
