	Toad the Wet Sprocket - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The album was released in 1991, and saw the single "All I Want" reach the top twenty on the Billboard Hot 100.
		This album spawned the hit singles "Fall Down," which reached #1 on the US Modern Rock charts as well as #5 on the Mainstream Rock chart, as well as "Something's Always Wrong," which also charted.
		A compilation album of b-sides and rarities, In Light Syrup, was released in 1995; it included the single "Good Intentions" which was featured on the soundtrack for the television show Friends.

	Coil by Toad The Wet Sprocket (lyrics & reviews)
		Though Fear, Dulcinea, and In Light Syrup (the B-Sides Album That Felt Like An A-Sides Album) are all excellent, Coil outdoes them.
		It's a shame they broke up recording the next album, but then again, maybe it's best to stop when you're at the top, and this is the very top of their output.
		Magnificent musicianship all through this album (and the band) make Coil quite possibly their best work of art ever produced by the band.

		The time off — the first long stretch the band has taken away from the road since releasing its first album Bread and Circus in 1989 — gave the members of Toad some time to sit back and evaluate their past work and consider their future directions.
		The result is a well rehearsed, often inspirational collection of a dozen songs, and one of their most cohesive records yet.
		One of the album's most brooding tracks, "Little Buddha" also deals with abnormally "deep" fodder for a pop song.

		Volume One was sent out in late 1990 and contained unreleased demo versions of "All In All" and "Walk On The Ocean" and is no longer available.
		Volume Two came out in 1992 and featured FEAR out-takes "Hobbit On The Rocks" and "Are We Afraid," both of which appear on the IN LIGHT SYRUP anthology album, along with Volume Three's "Chicken." The other track on Volume Three (released in 1994) was "P.S." which is not on IN LIGHT SYRUP.
		The four Carolina dates and the Santa Barbara benefit are the only live Toad shows on tap so far for 1996, but there is a possibility of more to come once the band finishes recording their new album.

		I have not see seen this movie but I know that the song Little Heaven (which can also be found on their In Light Syrup album) is played in it because it also appears on the soundtrack.
		A kind TOAD fan, Perry Pak, gave me the scoop that the song Something's Always Wrong (from their album, Dulcinea) was played during this movie.
		The songs (from the albums Bread and Circus, Pale and Fear) that are on this 25 minute video are: One Little Girl, Come Back Down, Jam, Is It For Me, Hold Her Down, All I Want, Walk On The Ocean.

		Toad summs up early 90's alternative music for me. This album is my second fav from them.
		It's amazing that an album comprised entirely of singles, B-sides, and other discarded tracks would actually add up to Toad the Wet Sprocket's most cohesive album in their all-too short career.
		The truth is, there is not a weak song on the album, period.

		In Light Syrup is a pretty decent compilation of B-sides, movie-tunes, fan club singles, and unreleased tracks, all of which were recorded between 1992 and 1994.
		Naturally, it's not as consistent as Toad the Wet Sprocket's last effort Dulcinea but can one really expect more from such a collection?
		Good Intentions, the first (and likely only) single from this release, was actually written for the Fear album, but, with its upbeat feel and bubbly bass line, it would have fit better on Dulcinea.
