I found the Incan Empire the most intriguing and interesting because they established and developed so much while being so far away from other developing civilizations.
The implementation of a rigid, centralized, state controlled government allowed for the Incan leaders to oversee a society that was impressive in territorial size and population and whose achievements are legendary.
Incan Empire was one that stayed with me. It is noted that they were isolated and not influenced by others but their development were the same as some of the greatest empires of Asia and Africa.
