P-labeled probes, and is adjacent to a dark room for performing autoradiography.; The lab has access to a fully equipped microbiology prep-room with autoclaves, a walk-in incubator and cold room, ultra cold (-70 C) freezer, analytical and top-loading balances, refrigerated high-speed centrifuges, ultracentrifuge, etc.
The lab is equipped with 6 fume hoods for solvent storage and methylmercury extractions, freezer and liquid nitrogen facilities for isotope storage, and appropriate isotope disposal facilities.
Radioisotope Laboratories--The River Studies Center has full time access to a well-equipped radioisotope wet laboratory in the University Radiation Center.
