Big Chimneys, believed to have been the first permanent structure built in Falls Church, was a large log house named for its two huge chimneys.
One chimney had a datestone inscribed 1699, the year that the homestead may have been established and this is the date traditionally used for the community's founding.
It was a landmark for travelers through Falls Church until it was torn down in 1908.

Differences between Indians and Pakistanis may not mean much in the American context as evidenced by the fact that many second-generation and even first-generation immigrant desis are happy to identify themselves as "South Asian." However, I can't think of many in the sub-continent who would identify themselves as South Asian.
When Indians [that is, "them"] make similar statements about USA/UK/whatever, I interpret this to mean that they like the quality of life in that country well enough to move there or at least want to move there.
The core of Hindutva is that Indians are all "Hindus" where "Hindu" is defined as one for whom India is both motherland and holy land, and the problem lies with those who have different loyalties.
