We paid the fee, got smiles from the police, state troopers, as well as people working at the fair, and many of the officials there.
I'm all for pedestrian safety, but to allow speeding large Golf carts weaving in and out of crowds, as well as HUGE tractors moving and mingling with walkers, mothers pushing babystrollers, and the general public in an unsequestered area, I think the policy of NOT allowing Segways is entirely hypocritical.
They also said that they consider the Segway a vehicle and state that it may be restricted due to too many other 'vehicles' such as golf carts being there.
