Infiniti FX45 - American Car Imports UK
Infiniti equipped the FX with enormous 20-inch wheels and tires and race car-sized brakes.
The Infiniti design team wanted "cool fusion," or "the blending of a substantial, SUV lower body with a sleek, elegant upper body more reminiscent of a classic sports car or GT.'' In other words, the FX is supposed to look like a sports car from the beltline up.
Infiniti says it placed a higher priority on floor space than sheer volume, and the FX has a larger load floor than the X5 or Lexus RX330.

The FX45 is all-wheel-drive (power goes only to the rear wheels unless the fronts begin to slip), with traction control and electronic stability control standard.

Infiniti declares its chunky FX45 to be a "premium SUV with the heart of a sports car."
Contributing to the "sport" part of Infiniti's sport utility is the FX's wide stance, grippy 20-inch wheels and tires, and performance-tuned suspension.
Also premium is the fuel Infiniti recommends to keep the V-8 humming— and that brings up the FX's Achilles' heel: The EPA rating is a politically incorrect 14 mpg in the city and a mere 18 on the open road.

On the other hand, Infiniti’s FX45 utilizes a five-speed automatic, the kind we’re all used to, however, one which can be shifted like a manual, but without a clutch.

What the FX45 is, basically, is a fast-as-hell station wagon with an unusual exterior, extremely comfortable, smart and useful interior, and really offers very little to complain about (aside from a bit too busy dashboard and a bit of leap out of and climb into the cabin).
