Wizard (DC Comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Believing that the Justice Society of America was merely a cover for a criminal organization, he attempted several criminal acts which were thwarted one by one by members of the Society.
Years later, he again reformed the Injustice Society which were temporarily victorious, enlisting the aid of extra-dimensional writer Cary Bates in killing several members of the J.S.A prior to their being revived (Justice League of America #123-124).
By the 1970s, Zard and the other Injustice Society members invaded the Justice Society headquarters, severely injured Hourman and staged a crime spree that spanned the globe.

20th WCP: The Double Life of Justice and Injustice in Thrasymachus' Account
injustice, when it comes into being on a sufficient scale, is mightier, freer, and more masterful than justice; and, as I have said from the beginning, the just is the advantage of the stronger, and the unjust is what is profitable and advantageous for oneself.
But the injustice of the second part of the statement implies that the "other" in the first part is not the ruling tyrant, but the ruled many.
So, it is clear that the praising of injustice from the ruler's perspective rests upon a standard of justice that is found to be the case from the ruled's perspective and therefore, the ruler never really escapes the standards of justice and injustice as Thrasymachus would want us to believe.

This is in part because perceived injustice is a frequent source of conflict.[2] This injustice is often characterized by the denial of fundamental political rights, such as freedom of speech or religion, or neglect of economic rights, such as access to adequate food and housing.
Society members often feel alienated from their leaders and withdraw their commitment to the political system in question.
Associated with the awareness that one suffers from injustice are feelings of moral outrage, resentment, and a sense of helplessness.[18] These feelings are crucial in motivating people to challenge injustice and attempt to undo it.

The Leadership Alliance - Alliance Viewpoint - Spring 2001
The Alliance was formed to address a specific need in academe that is directly related to the topics of injustice and prejudice, namely, the disproportionate lack of graduate students, doctoral candidates and, concomitantly, college professors and principal investigators in certain sectors of our society.
Injustice and prejudice are at the root of two of the most pressing problems facing our society today.
The Alliance is dedicated to the maxim that given opportunity, exposure and encouragement, students from every segment of American society can and must participate in the research community and the communal sphere of discussion that molds society.

Harry Gunnison Brown / The Alleged Injustice of Increasing Land Value Taxation Without Compensation
"Society," by the fact of not having changed the system over a long period and by "its" silence as regards "its" intention to change, has implied that "it" will never change the system and has thus "encouraged" such purchase of land.
To assert that "society" would provide the compensation merely serves to prevent us from inquiring into the question of who precisely would provide it and whether the victims of the system would mostly provide it.
Surely, then, those who insist that "society" has made even an implied "pledge" hot to change the tax system or not to change it in any particular direction or not to change it in this particular direction, are the gullible victims-though gullible, probably, largely because of their prejudices-of a fatuous myth.

 The Luke Society - Perspective
The poor and oppressed appear "harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." The church is often made up of the poorest of a given population, while those in positions of power misuse their influence at the expense of the populace.
The Luke Society director in India, Dr. Pushpa Rout, reported that in one of the villages where they are working, a new believer was recently murdered by Hindu extremists while the local authorities turned a blind eye.
When we face injustice, it is the goal of the Luke Society to imitate Christ's compassion for the oppressed.

 The Absurdity of Egalitarianism
The difference, egalitarians might say, is that the poor, fls, and women are unequal as a result of injustice, such as exploitation, discrimination, prejudice, and so forth, while this is not true of the life expectancy of men.
Overcoming injustice requires, therefore, a much more precise identification of the victims than merely membership in such amorphous groups as those of women, fls or the poor.
The typical ratio in past societies is closer to the reverse.

In the first case mentioned here, of judicial injustice, the society, by tolerating the injustice, is destroying the life of a person by means of confinement.
In the second case, in which a more subtle injustice is perpetrated against society, the society plays an active role by allowing itself to be looted by a mob of financial sharks whose activities cause poverty, and the resulting poverty causes death.
In this arena enormous injustices are committed, in which the society directly participates.

Government has the right and duty to protect the greater good against people who jeopardize the welfare of society, but a killer can be sentenced to life without chance of parole, and society will be just as safe as if he had been executed.
However, in today’s society, which is becoming ever more increasingly humanitarian, and individual rights and due process of justice are held in high accord, the death penalty is becoming an unrealistic form of punishment.
He does not have the right to inflict mortal punishment in the name of society’s welfare, when there are suitable substitutes that require fewer resources.

 Social Justice: Code for Communism
The expositors of liberalism (Spencer, Maine) saw their ethic, by establishing the political equality of all (e.g., the abolition of slavery, serfdom, and inequality of rights), as moving mankind from a "society of status" to a "society of contract." Alas, Marx the Prophet could not accept that the classless millenium had arrived before he did.
And crucial to the justification of a "classless" society is the undermining of any notion that individuals are responsible for their behavior and its consequences.
But there is no personified Society who planned and perpetrated this alleged inequity, only a society of persons acting upon the many choices made by their individual minds.

The first type is injustice visited upon man by his fellow man; this would include murder, theft and the like.
The second type of injustice is that which is commonly referred to as an "Act of God," that is some sort of natural disaster or circumstantial happenstance that causes injustice, often indiscriminately.
The injustice of the first kind, however, that perpetrated by Man on Man, remained prevalent, to the point that God (ironically) unleashed the wrath of Nature upon Man, all but obliterating him from the face of the Earth.
