		Harvey INMAN removed to Illinois, but returned after a few years to Dayton and enlisted in the late war and served until its close, being captured at Chancellorsville and incarcerated in Libby prison for a time.
		Inman was born June 4, 1953 in Ithaca the son of the late Calvin "Pete" and Etta Tyler Inman.
		Inman is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Graham and future son-in-law, Larry, all of Groton; son, Bill Marks of Honeywell, FL; grandchildren, Brenda and Angela Graham, Theresa (Dick) Baker, Gary and John Delaney, all of Groton; as well as several great grandchildren.

		The gist of Harvey's argument seems to be that we cannot assess such concepts as consciousness free of our prejudices, our belief, based on past experience, that humans are conscious but machines and other inanimate objects are not.
		To support his point, Harvey suggests that if you were walking across a road and saw a car-size block of stone tumbling down a hillside in your direction, you would give it considerably more leeway, with greater urgency, than you would a car-size car driving toward you at the same speed.
		Harvey refers to it dismissively as a "horse designed by a committee." A few of the other robots look as if they might grow up in a few thousand years to show all the lifelike verisimilitude of R2-D2.

		There are still Inman's at Badgerdub the house that has been in the family for many years.
		He have reason to believe he was born in West Plains, MO. I have been unable to find anything about my grandfather's parents, and their names are unknown to me. Joseph A Inman is buried in Holdenville, OK and his spouse is buried in Wesley Chapel cemetery in Baxter Co. AR.
