Natalie Wood as Daisy Clover managaes to look beautiful even though she looks like a frumpy teenager.
Swan, who tells Daisy "your husband never could resist a charming boy." Robert Redford looks extremely handsome as bisexual actor Wade Lewis (my favorite scene is when he talks to Daisy in the beautiful white bedroom).
The problem around "Inside Daisy Clover" is its superficiality, that makes its characters a little more than mere caricatures.

Inside Daisy Clover Review: Despite being uneven and overdramatic in some spots, this movie is absolutely intriguing.
Generally, things end up on a sad note, this ain't Singing In The Rain, and I did get sick of hearing the song, Wood's character kept singing over and over, and not very well, about how she's gonna be a big star.
Inside Daisy Clover Review: This film, about the struggle of a young star movie to mantain her personality against Hollywood cruelty, will probably gives you a headache (and not a "HEARTACHE!, as it says one character), as it fastly turns on a bombastic, hopelessly phony melodrama.

Barbra Streisand - Movie Album [Bonus DVD] in Charts Music   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-03)
If its overwrought classicism represents Streisand at her most cryptically opaque, her playful recasting of the chestnut "I'm in the Mood for Love" as jazzy bossa nova showcases the low-key sense of adventure she brings to many of the performances here.
Her veteran dramatic sense effortlessly drives Chaplin 's "Smile" beyond schmaltz and elevates Inside Daisy Clover 's "You're Gonna Hear from Me" to nothing less than theatrical showstopper.
But it's in the album's smaller, more unexpected surprises (an exotica-tinged "Wild is the Wind", the slinky, electro production of Bagdad Café 's "Calling You", "Moon River"'s faithful evocation of Hepburn strumming her guitar in the film) that it reveals its true heart and soul--and that of Barbra Streisand, unabashed Hollywood movie-lover.
