		The Insight Bowl is $729,488 in debt, making it the second worst-off financially among 20 bowls that operate as non-profit charitable organizations, according to the bowls' tax returns.
		The Insight Bowl's cumulative $729,488 debt is from the 2002-03 bowl season, the most recent for which records are available.
		Bowl officials declined to give an updated figure but said the bottom line should improve because attendance increased last year and a record crowd of 46,000 is projected this year.

		The game was formerly known as the Copper Bowl from 1989 until 1996 when sponsorship and naming rights were assumed by Insight Enterprises and it became the Insight.com Bowl (1997 to 2001), and then the Insight Bowl.
