		Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet, founder of Aeon Center for Cosmology and author of the Integral Cosmology text "The Gnostic Circle", though currently unrecognized by the members of Sri Aurobindo's Ashram or of Auroville, is considered by many Integral Yoga students to be a direct continuation of the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

		Several of the theories of consciousness that I summarized in the Introduction are predicated on the fact that consciousness evolution seems to show evidence of higher or postformal (or `post-postconventional') stages of growth.
		The methodology of an integral study of consciousness would apparently need to include two broad wings: the first is the simultaneous tracking of the various levels and lines in each of the quadrants, and then noting their correlations, each to all the others, and in no way trying to reduce any to the others.
		So in an integral theory of consciousness, we would certainly include the Upper Right hierarchy and those aspects of the emergent/connectionist models that legitimately reflect that territory; but where those theories overstep their epistemic warrant (and are thus reduced to reductionism), we should perhaps move on.

		But Sri Aurobindo argued that the competition between the three branches has existed for millennium and the tendency of one, now science, to try to eclipse and usurp the role of the other two is not new.
