  Intel 80188 family
Intel 80188 microprocessor is an enhanced version of Intel 8088 processor.
With the exception of integrated components, the 80188 microprocessor is not very different from the 8088, and, because of this, it may be considered as an embedded version of the 8088.
The Intel 80188 didn't even have its own version of co-processor and worked with Intel 8087.

INTEL 8085 The 8085 chip is very similar to 8080, the other units added to it are built in clock generator and system controller.
INTEL 8088 The main difference between 8086 & 8088 is that 8086 has a 16 bit data bus both external & internal where as 8088 has 8 bit external data bus and 16 bit internal data bus.
INTEL 80386 Intel introduced the next version of the its processor 80386 in 1988 to the computer industry which had demanding requirements for the embedded applications.

 Intel from FOLDOC
The 80186 was an improvement on the Intel 8086 and Intel 8088.
The Intel 8086 was based on the design of the Intel 8080 and Intel 8085 (it was source compatible with the 8080) with a similar register set, but was expanded to 16 bits.
Intel bubble memory was on the market for a while, but faded away as better and cheaper memory technologies arrived.

 Intel 8087 family
Intel 8087 is a numeric co-processor for Intel 8086, 8088, 80186 and 80188 processors.
The Intel 8087 captures the memory address and, possibly, data, and uses the captured address to read more data or write data to memory.
Intel 8087 co-processor supports integer, BCD, single and double precision floating-point numbers, as well as extended precision (80-bit) floating-point numbers.

The 80188 microprocessor was developed by Intel in 1982.
It is an improved 8088 with several common support functions built in: clock generator, system controller, interrupt controller, DMA controller, and timer/counter.
As with the 8088, it has an 8-bit external bus and is also available as the 80186, with a 16-bit external data bus.

 C compiler for Intel 80188
I need an optimized C compiler for 80188 microcontroller,The part is not mentioned in Keil list.
It used to be possible to use Borland tools to generate x86/88-based embedded code not dependent on MS-DOS, Windows, PC, BIOS, etc - so maybe try ebay and see if you can find an old Borland C++ v3 or v4.
You can download the Borland C++ v5 compiler only (no IDE) for free from the Borland site, but I don't know if it can still be used to generate embedded code, and I fear that it may no longer support the 80188.
