 RTL's Zeiler to give Worldview Address at TV fest
The Edinburgh International Television Festival, which previously announced that BBC news anchor John Humphreys will give the MacTaggart lecture on opening day, runs Aug. 27-29.
Luxembourg-based RTL has interests in 24 radio stations and 26 television channels in Europe including the Five channel in Britain, M6 in France and RTL Television in Germany.
Festival advisory chair Murray Boland, director of programming at digital channel E4, said: "Gerhard Zeiler's insight into running a major international broadcaster and production house will be a huge highlight of this year's festival."

Asked which languages should under any circumstances continue to be official languages of the EU in the case of a reduction of their total number English was not named in a mere 0.4% of all cases.
