	IFNA
		The International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) is the sole, internationally recognised, governing body for Netball, affiliated to the General Association of International Sports Federations, the International World Games Association and the Association of Recognised Sports Federations, receiving funding from the International Olympic Committee.
		Currently, close to 60 National Netball Associations are affiliated to IFNA, grouped into 5 Regions - Africa, Asia, Americas, Europe and Oceania - each with a respective Regional Federation.
		Regional Federations are an integral part of the global governance structure and assist in the implementation of IFNA policies and development of the sport in their respective regions.

	ABC Sport - Netball - Fiji loses right to host world champs
		Fiji has lost the right to host next year's world netball championships, as the sport's governing body succumbed to mounting pressure to move the event.
		The tournament had been scheduled for Suva in July 2007, but IFNA decided on Saturday it would not be hosted in the Fijian capital.
		IFNA has made no announcement as to who will replace Fiji as the host of the world championships.

	IFNA calls for awakening netball
		International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) president Molly Rhone has said netball is a sleeping giant waiting to be awakened by vibrant netball associations.
		The UK-based Rhone, who is in Malawi as part of an IFNA plan to reconnect with Africa, was speaking Monday when she addressed representatives of the Confederation of Southern African Netball Associations (COSANA) gathered in Blantyre ahead of the tournament which starts Wednesday, Nation Online of Malawi reported Tuesday.
		Reacting to Rhone's challenge, COSANA president Refiloe Makoele admitted her association has major sponsorship problems and pointed out that countries like Lesotho and Swaziland have pulled out of the competition due to lack of funds as associations have to foot their own transport, food and accommodation.

		Netball officials in New Zealand will be meeting on Thursday to decide if they will be able to host the 2007 World Netball Championships after the event was withdrawn from Fiji following a bloodless military coup in that country last Tuesday.
