The International Pentecostal Church of Christ (or IPCC) is a Pentecostal holiness denomination formed in 1976 by the merger of two Pentecostal organizations.
In 1976, the International Pentecostal Assemblies and the Pentecostal Church of Christ merged to become the International Pentecostal Church of Christ.
Its affiliations are with the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America, Pentecostal World Conference, a charter member of the National Association of Evangelicals, and the World Evangelical Fellowship.

The 1906 annual conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of North Carolina was notable for the absence of Gaston B. Cashwell, one of the leading evangelists and pastors in the new denomination since he left Methodism to join the new church in 1903.
Though the Pentecostal experience was sweeping his church, Crumpler was one of the few who refused to countenance the theory of "initial evidence." Although he accepted the validity of tongues, he did not believe that everyone had to speak in tongues to experience a genuine baptism in the Holy Spirit.
For many decades the Pentecostal Holiness Church was a church that spoke with a Southern accent and was largely a rural denomination ministering in the South and the Midwest.

In 1919, the National and International Pentecostal Missionary Union was chartered as an Ohio corporation for the purposes of visiting missionaries and encouraging fellowship with Paul Wittich as the president.
The Pentecostal Church of Christ was chartered as an Ohio corporation on March 8, 1927.
The Pentecostal Witness, the official magazine of PCC, began in 1923 with Rev. Charles Crossen as editor and was printed for 51 years until consolidated with The Bridegroom’s Messenger when the trial consolidation between the IPA and the PCC began.

 Tulsa Minister, Church Sued for Slander
A minister at First United Pentecostal Church in Tulsa who allegedly told his congregation during a worship service that the church's music director was having a lesbian love affair is being sued for slander.
In the 1989 court case Guinn vs. Church of Christ of Collinsville, the defense claimed the same immunity when a minister said in church that a female member had committed adultery.
Defense attorney Roger Williams, who is representing Bass, the local church, the Oklahoma District of the United Pentecostal Church International and its superintendent, Robert D. Whalen, declined to comment.
