 | | I have just read an article entitled The Faith-Based Encyclopedia, which is a critique of the WikiPedia by one Robert McHenry, who once was Editor in Chief of the Encyclopædia Britannica. |
 | | After discussing the the origins of the idea of an organic knowledge base, the "interpedia", in less-than-flattering terms, McHenry introduces the WikiPedia as the modern and successful product of those early ideals of the internet dreamtime (pre-1995). |
 | | It occured to me then that in McHenry's introductory story about the interpedia, one of the participants in the seemingly endless round of "How shall we do it, dear Liza, dear Liza?", was McHenry himself. |
