Interstate 94 is a long interstate highway connecting the Great Lakes and Intermountain region of the United States.
Its western terminus is in Billings, Montana at a junction with Interstate 90; its eastern terminus is the U.S. side of the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, Michigan, at the Ontario, Canada border.
Interstate 494 was originally planned to serve as a loop in Chicago and follow Lake Shore Drive along Lake Michigan.

One of the most peculiar and hazardous stretches of Interstate 90 is the section of highway passing through downtown Cleveland, Ohio, known locally as "Dead Man's Curve".
I-90 terminated at Interstate 93 in Boston until it was connected through to the Ted Williams Tunnel in January 2003 as part of the Big Dig, extending I-90 to Boston's Logan International Airport, an additional 1.3 miles beyond the 3111.52 miles already paved.

I-43 is usually a very safe highway to travel on, even when the traffic is considered to be "heavy." Of course, it isn't close to anything like what it splits off into, I-94 going through Northern Illinois into Chicago.
I travel I-43 often and because that highway runs near Lake Michigan, the fog off of the lake can be very thick at times, especially during this time of the year.
On I-43 between Milwaukee and Green Bay, the point near Cedar Grove is where the highway passes closest to Lake Michigan, which can contribute to foggy conditions.
