Interstate 74 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Interstate 74 is an interstate highway in the midwestern United States.
Its western end is at an intersection with Interstate 80 in Bettendorf, Iowa ; its eastern end is at an intersection with Interstate 75 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This multi-year project will see the complete renovation of I-74 through East Peoria, Illinois and Peoria, Illinois, most notably to widen the interstate to three lanes through the cities, to remove or correct many blind or hairpin exits and entrances to the highway, and to replace bridges crossing the highway.

Primary interstates are the major interstate highways of the United States and are assigned a one or two-digit route number.
The last two digits of a three-digit interstate are always the number of the parent route, the primary interstate where it originated.
If the first digit is odd, the interstate is typically a spur route while if the first digit is even, the interstate is typically a loop route.

As the cases make clear, federal authority extends to regulating the sale and transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce; while the Commission's abandonment authority extends to insuring that gas that is produced from committed or dedicated leases and wells moves in interstate commerce (see, e.g., United Gas Pipe Line Co. v.
As we read appellant's contentions, any state scheme of allowables that has the intended effect of giving a well connected to an interstate pipeline a use-it-or-lose-it incentive to extract gas should be deemed an impermissible "obstacle" to accomplishment of the purposes of federal regulation.

Riverside Bayview Homes, 474 U.S. Because there are likely relatively few isolated waters that lack the kind of hydrologic or other nexus described in Riverside Bayview, and allowed under SWANCC as a basis for federal jurisdiction, the Corps' regulatory program under Section 404 remains alive and well.
This includes all waters which presently, in the past, or, with reasonable improvements, in the future could be used for interstate or foreign commerce by water, with the mean high water mark serving as the shoreward boundary and the actual limits of navigability serving as the upstream boundary.
The Corps has interpreted this to mean that it will assert jurisdiction where it can establish an actual link between the water body and interstate or foreign commerce; and where individually or combined, the use, degradation or destruction of isolated waters with such a link would have a substantial effect on interstate or foreign commerce.
