Interstate 35 is the longest north-south interstate route in Texas.  It runs from the Oklahoma border at the Red River down to Laredo.  Some of the larger towns on IH 35 are Waco, Austin and San Antonio.  IH 35 is split into 35-E and 35W for Fort Worth and Dallas.
Interstate 45 is one of the busiest freeways in the state of Texas, carrying traffic between Houston and Dallas.

The idea for I-610 dates back to about 1956, when a consulting firm proposed building a federal-aid highway in that location.
Also known as "Loop 610", Interstate 610 is one of less than a dozen true 3di loops.
On Oct. 1, 1959, the Bureau of Public Roads (BPR) approved I-610 at a location leading from I-10 east of Houston looping north, west, south, and east to end at I-45 southeast of Houston -- a "C" shape.

Loop 610 is Houston's 38.3 mile inner loop that was completed in 1975.
Bridge Clearance is 135 feet (41m), unusually low for a major crossing (newer crossings are 175 feet (53m) or higher.) Just days before this photo was taken, a ship's crane collided with the bridge deck and knocked out a large hole in the pavement, forcing the closure of 3 northbound lanes.
This is a typical section of the northeast section of Loop 610.

Since many aspects of the proposed regulations were similar in structure to the section 610(b) final rule banning class I substances published on January 15, 1993, EPA proposed to revise the regulations promulgated under 40 CFR part 82 subpart C to incorporate the class II ban.
EPA reiterated its belief that in section 610 of the statute, Congress applied this term to any type or category of merchandise or commodity offered for sale, as well as any use of an ozone-depleting substance in the manufacture or packaging of any such merchandise or commodity.
The class II ban applies only to interstate commerce and EPA intended in the NPRM to regulate imports and exports only while they were in interstate commerce.
