		About the Ion Cannon thing: the IC is an orbiting cannon that hits its target instantly and the beam cannot be redirected to other targets without firing again.
		The General's Particle Cannon is a ground-based cannon that fires a slower particle-based beam (not ion-based; at least not directly) at an orbiting mirror continuously, allowing it to hit multiple targets in one charge, if at the expense of damage.
		Well, the Ion Cannon was allways more like a "beam shot" while the particle uplink cannon is a constand beam, which is what the beam on this poster looks like IMO.
